How was the Name ‘MUSKLY’ actually formed?
You might have to know the meaning of MUSK! It means something like a smell, broadly meaning- An odorous glandular secretion from the male musk deer; used as a perfume fixative.
Well, this meaning comes from the dictionary but from real-life practice, it had a naming story!
It was 2012!
We had a blog named SocialMusk.com (SocialMusk was a blogging platform regarding all the social networking sites around the web. We know how to use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Google Plus+, etc. who are in a top but what about the others?). Musk was used here just to express the virtual smells of networking over the online social media community. This was the beginning!
But in 2013?
But after blogging for 1 year we lost our concentration because there were no goals and no mission though! This is why we didn’t renew our blog and someone else re-registered that domain and hosting too into his own name having a personal reason (Because that site was hosted in his hosting company).
That incident made us mad and helped us to form another online identity: SocialMusker (Personal Brand of Md. Nazrul Islam, Founder & CEO of MUSKLY)
Apptertainer was a fusion word which means App+Entertainer; behind a person who actually gives you the perfect apptertainment (entertainment), obviously related to mobile applications which will really make your life apptertainable (entertainable) from the million-billion of apps. But unfortunately, this was also a failed project due to a poor approach and no focus point!
At the end of 2015? Another Failure!!!
Then started to work with a different domain (www.appteresting.com) name with app industry but failed again because of the wrong choice! This quote will help you too like us if you’re still looking for your passions!
We were thinking to change the way we work over the internet! As Google gets smarter day by day, it’s almost harder to game the system (SEO & Online Marketing)!
But where do we focus?
Suddenly we saw a quote from Seth Godin, a famous American author, blogger
“Content Marketing is the Only Marketing Left,” this line inspired us a lot to learn more on Content Marketing!
Seth went on to say (I’m paraphrasing) that teaching your customers and giving your customers the resources to believe you is the new marketing. They become a fan of yours because you teach them something that makes them feel better about the world.
In the mid of 2016?
Was involved in a deep learning period from the INTERNET on the whole process of Content Marketing! How it works and the real-life practice that executed over on SocialMusker’s job life! At this stage, NewsCred was our inspiration.
In mid-2017, we’d registered our company domain name as ‘MUSKLY’.
Because MUSKLY is going to consider every content creation project as a different bottle of perfume that spreads a different kind of invisible smell (different purposes of a client). That’s the way MUSKLY was formed and came onto the WWW to create amazing content that people like you would love to spread!
Start developing the website part by part all throughout the whole year of 2018, out of job responsibilities and waiting for the year 2019 as the mission was setting before! Thinking to set up the team as well.

Ever since Md. Nazrul Islam, the Founder & CEO of MUSKLY, better-known for his Personal Brand SocialMusker (A Man Who Love You!), living as a resident citizen of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh began his career in 2011, after majoring in (MIS) Business Development from Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST), soon found out that his passions moved him into the world of Digital Marketing.
You know, every brand nowadays becomes a publisher! Thus, various brands, companies, and channels need attractive content to contribute and need to live within their audiences. Over the years he helps brand and companies like Syntech Solution Ltd., Bdlive24 (Largest Online Bangla News Portal), NRB Telecom (Data Center), IPvision Canada Inc. (Telecommunication) ringID (Messaging App), TheTechNews (TechNews portal), SmartDataSoft (Top author at Envato from Bangladesh), PrestaSian (PrestaShop AddOns) in their content creation and digital marketing needs!
But in 2019, he saw this as the right time to invest in his own agency to grow and serve more around the world in better content creation!
After leaving his job, SocialMusker decides to launch MUSKLY, which comes from his Content Marketing passion. This is where he wants to live for the rest of his life!

Ehtesham Khaled, having known each other since 2005, he has been professionally a doctor but passionately a professional photographer & photo editor having in-field working experiences of more than 5 years. He was involved with Travel photography, Product Photography, Real Estate designs, landscapes & conceptual photography for a while. Was the former photo editor of Vrx Studios, Hometakes, Walkintour, Remax Reality, Lark photo, and Alain Martinaze Photography and many more.
Now he has been joined MUSKLY as Chief Content Director! We’re happy to have him on our ship! Oops, education? Well he has completed his doctorate degree from Bangladesh Medical
Meet! Raihan Kabir, graduated from ASA University in BBA! who is a passionate photographer, creative thinker, and dedicated logo designer! He has long term experience to serve corporate customers over local markets and online marketplaces too! He created over 60+ brands over his journey! We are so happy to get him as a creative art editor on our ship!
Meet! Asif Mustafa graduated from North South University who is passionate about things in the content industry! After switching different jobs and experimenting with many freelance gigs, he finally decided that Content Creation is where his heart is at. He sees this, and memes, as the art form which our generation will be remembered for. We’re delighted to have him on our ship!
The word “MUSKLY” has come from the main word MUSK (noun) and its adjective is “musky” which means something like fragrance, beauty, perfume, etc.
The name “MUSKLY” is easily rememberable and smelly. Generated from its creator ‘SocialMusker’, when he was on working mood as Content Marketer. Which now an integral part of our brand.

A clear tagline is important to complement an easily recognizable brand. By showcasing exactly what we sell, our partners have no doubt about our offerings. It is also easy to make a connection with our content creation passion that people love to spread.
The Logo (Icon+WordMark):
MUSKLY logo formed with two components (Icon+ WordMark). The icon shape of MUSKLY means a lot! There are 33 dots that are the example of contents, all together in a spreading mood!
Number 33 is considered a Master Number in Numerology, which means that it resonates at a higher vibration than other numbers. Someone says it as an angel number! On the side, Number 3 is the number of creativity, self-expression, and the manifestation of creative talents. If number 3 was expressed as a mental state, it would be the best thought of as joy and creative exuberance. When a number is repeated, as the three are in Master Number 33, its vibrational essence is multiplied and its power to resonate throughout your life is greatly magnified.
We used the font “Nasalization ” in our wordmark shape!
‘Nasalization’ is an ultramodern sans serif typeface with a nod to the 1975 Nasa logo. In OpenType savvy applications, a slanted M and W will automatically flip or straighten out depending on neighboring characters.
Color (Background & Palette):
You know, Brand colors play a large role in how a brand is perceived, it helps with recognizability and memorability, and it has the potential to attract the right kind of customers, clients, and blog readers. Most importantly, color is one of the noticeable, recognizable, tangible components of a brand and that goes for MUSKLY too!
This is something that powers up a brand to communicate with its clients and visitors to help them feel and remember the brand! We love our colors and palettes as well. We chose Purple as our dominant color (comes from Primary Color Blue+Red=Purple)!
According to Arteqo Consulting (The European Web Agency), the RGB or Red, Green, Blue color model is a color model that describes any color as a mixture of red, green, and blue colors. This is an additive color model, meaning that it adds different amounts of red, green and blue to black, black being the absence of color. The Plump Purple color consists of 35% red, 27% green and 70% blue. In absolute RGB units (where the minimum is 0 and the maximum is 255) it is 89 red, 68 green and 178 blue. In other words, the RGB code of the plump purple color is RGB (89, 68, 178)
Thus, MUSKLY’s color is PLUMP PURPLE (RGB #5845AE)💜!
Wow! You know why?
Purple is closely associated with creativity, imagination, royalty, nobility, luxury, and extravagance. It’s a very rare color in nature, and many relate it to creativity and mystery. This is one of the main reasons we choose Plump Purple as our branding color! As we’re working on something creative, yes creative content creation, thus Plump Purple is perfectly fit for us!
Black as secondary and Dark gray as for optional color we chose for MUSKLY!
MUSKLY uses POPPINS as its primary body font family. It should be used in all materials to maintain consistency in our landing pages, messaging, branding, blogging & social media!
